MACPM has varied over the years in having a Chair and Vice Chair position versus two Co-Chair positions. Regardless of the identification the workload and time commitment for the following duties is best shared between two people. Establishing professional relationships within Maine’s perinatal network, regular perinatal outreach, and community leadership board attendance is vital to MACPM’s foundation.
Treasurer
Position Opening in May! Join us! MACPM’s treasurer role manages the association's financial resources, membership, and tax status. MACPM has historically been funded by past board members private donations. The current structure of the association has grown to be self sustained and requires regular maintenance to remain so.
Secretary
MACPM prides itself on transparence and clear communication amongst its members. The secretary role is crucial to MACPM’s ability to communicate statewide. Secretary expectations revolve primarily around recording meeting minutes and sharing them publicly.
